The mission of the Keuka Comfort Care Home is to provide a facility and staff to ensure compassionate care in a peaceful, home-like environment for our community's terminally ill residents and their families. We accomplish this by allowing our residents to live in a warm and loving atmosphere of support and encouragement during their final months of life. The home is located just south of Penn Yan, New York overlooking Keuka Lake.

Wine and Hors d'oeuvres

The Eastern Star of Dresden and The Women for New York State Wine are pleased to announce they are hosting their 4th annual Wine and Hors d'oeuvres party, June 27th at 3:00pm at the Cobblestone Springs house located on 4306 Lakemont-Himrod Road, Dundee, NY 14837-9114. Roy Lateer and Shirley will be playing the fiddle and guitar for your enjoyment, the Eastern Star of Dresden will be providing wonderful homemade Hors d'oeuvres and the Women for New York State Wine will be providing a sampling of incredible wines from around NYS. Cobblestone Spring House will be open for tours for anyone who is interested in the gardens and the magnificent old house which has a lot of history to it. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door or you can contact Juanita Spence, phone 315-536-2150.

Swim Across the Lake!
The first ever Krossin' Keuka '09 will be held bright and early Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Keuka College located on beautiful Keuka Lake. The event will consist of 150 swimmers, of all ages and abilities, who will swim the .67 mile width of Keuka Lake.
The swim is NON-COMPETITIVE and open to anyone who is of high school age and older. Each swimmer and paddler will be asked for an entry fee of $25 and to raise a minimum of $100.00 in pledges in order to participate in this event. A free continental breakfast will be served for participants and available to spectators for purchase. All participants will receive a First Edition Krossin' Keuka tee shirt and wonderful prizes will be awarded to the participant who raises the most money and to the participant who has the most number of pledges.
